The World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) is a prestigious event organised by the World Conference on Transport Research Society. It has been held every three years for nearly 50 years and covers a broad spectrum of topics within the realm of transport research.
The main goal of the conference is to bring together leading experts from all corners of the world who are passionate about transportation research. The aim is to spark lively discussions and idea-sharing about transport policies and practical applications.
The 2023 edition of WCTR was held from 17 to 21 July in Montréal, Canada. During the event, Jeffrey Willems presented the PIONEERS project during the event, highlighting the work being developed in the 19 innovative demonstrations and how they contribute to the increase in sustainability within the port sector. Attendees actively participated in the session, curious to understand more about the project and its vision.
