PIONEERS at AIVP Conference 2023

PIONEERS was represented in Venice, Italy, from November 16th to 18th, 2023, for the AIVP Conference. Themed “Linking Ports and Citizens: A shared vision for the Future”, the event was organised by AIVP in collaboration with the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority of Venice.

The conference offered a rich program featuring engaging sessions that explore various topics, including citizen engagement in the implementation of solutions for the energy transition, climate change and resilient port cities. The balance between tourism and the blue economy with local priorities, and how port-city interface projects can connect citizens with their port, will be other relevant topics of discussion.

PIONEERS and its sister project MAGPIE had a joint stand at the event. It was an incredible opportunity to share with participants how EU-funded initiatives are actively shaping the future of ports.
