Macomi and PoAB Demo on Vessel Traffic Optimisation

What will maritime traffic in a port look like in the future? What effect would a brand-new terminal, increased vessel movements, or adjusted vessel operations have?

The Port of Antwerp-Bruges and Macomi‘s simulation solution PortGenie are creating a Vessel Traffic Optimisation demonstrator within the PIONEERS project to address these questions.

By using business rules and AIS data, realistic vessel movements and interactions can be simulated, with highly detailed movement over the waterways and optimal berth and lock planning.
