The Cargo Flow Predictor is a valuable tool that relies on historical and real-time data, complemented by Machine Learning techniques, to accurately predict the destinations of containers and subsequent modes of transportation, helping port stakeholders to make informed decisions, increasing the reliability and resiliency of port operations and reducing the waiting time.

PIONEERS consortium partners Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Mosaic Factor and Imec are working together to scale up this prediction model and create user-friendly dashboards for shippers, carriers, and port authorities. The main goal is to provide insights for strategic decisions in the port ecosystem, improving the overall efficiency of container logistics.
